Companies/ Contractors who are
interested to participate in this pre-qualification tender must carefully read
and understand all of the terms listed in this Pre-qualification Document.
Protest against the result of this Pre-qualification will not be entertained ,
if the reason given is because of not reading
nor not understanding the document, and any damaged caused will be
solely the responsibility of the Company/ Supplier itself.
2.
PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENT
2.1.
Pre-qualification Document is part of procurement
document which will be used as guidance in the process of document submission
in the pre-qualification stage by the Companies/contractor who are interested,
and guideline in evaluation process of pre-qualification by Procurement Staffs
of PT PJB.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
3.1.
Intent and purpose of this Coal Dryer work in
EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
in PT P in Paiton Power Plant Unit is to acquire the Coal Dryer system
and process in accordance with the conditions and needs of PT P Paiton Power
Plant Unit , namely :
3.1.1. Coal drying technology to be used must utilize
waste heat from the Power Plant as a main source of heat / energy.
3.1.2. Coal drying technology to be used must be integrated
both mechanically and systematically with the control system of Power Plant
3.1.3. Coal
drying technology to be used must have its own protection system that ensures
the level of security against the potential of self-combustion due to the
drying process of the coal.
3.1.4. Coal drying technology to be used must have
been proven to operate well in another Power Plant with a capacity of 400 MW
minimum for minimum 1 (one) year.
3.1.5. Coal dryer must have an evaporative capacity
of minimum 70 tons/ hour.
3.2.
Design Specifications required by PT P are :
3.2.1. Coal dryer uses waste heat as primary source
of heat / energy, the waste heat is from the condenser, from flue gas before
the chimney or bypass from secondary air preheater and drain from LP heater.
3.2.2. Coal
dryer must be able to be operated continuously (24 hours/day and 350
days/year), and technology offered must have been proven to operate well in any
Power Plant.
3.2.3. Contractor must be able to provide guarantee /
warranty of the performance of coal dryer system offered. The warranty which
must be given is that the total amount of moisture that can be vaporized is
minimum 15% (fifteen percent). In addition, 12 (twelve) months guarantee to be
given for the condition of coal dryer equipment against any damage.
